Programs run by Rashtrotthan

Lok Sanskar Utsav is a unique initiative aimed at promoting religious and cultural consciousness in society. This significant program, which began in October 2022, focuses on empowering women to play a pivotal role in spreading moral and spiritual values.
This festival sees enthusiastic participation from people of the Sanatan tradition. It has been organized not only in Gurukul campuses but also along the sacred banks of rivers like the Ganga and Gomti. Women have been at the forefront of this program, contributing actively and consistently, which has made the initiative more impactful and far-reaching.
The positive outcomes of the awareness spread through Lok Sanskar Utsav are becoming evident in society. This initiative does not merely celebrate traditions but also fosters moral and spiritual development across all sections of society.
Lok Sanskar Utsav is not just about preserving cultural heritage; it also serves as a platform to unite the community and pass the timeless values of Sanatan Dharma to future generations. It stands as an inspiring step toward preserving India’s cultural and religious legacy while nurturing societal harmony.

A few decades ago, when our Sanatani culture was at its peak, we looked at temples not only as places of worship but also as centres of awakening. Temples were also considered as centres of collective unity and strength. The main objective of Lok Mangal Yatra is to organize the worship system of temples and re-establish them as centres of awakening like before.

The Gurukul was established not just to provide education but to instill Dharma, culture, and ethics in the lives of children. As the students of the Gurukul deeply benefited from religious and cultural teachings, it became evident that children studying in other schools or pursuing additional education beyond the Gurukul should also have access to this wisdom. To fulfill this vision, the “Rashtrotthan Cultural Week” program was initiated.

Purpose and Structure of the Program

The primary aim of Rashtrotthan Cultural Week is to provide children with fundamental knowledge of Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture, and traditions. This week-long program introduces students to the core aspects of Sanatan culture while emphasizing their integration with modern education and contemporary subjects.
The program includes teachings on Dharma, Yoga, Ayurveda, Indian history, scriptures, Vedas, and Puranas. Alongside, topics like moral values, environmental conservation, and service to humanity are also discussed. Through these teachings, children learn to recognize the profound principles of Sanatan Dharma that underpin modern science, technology, and progress.

Impact on Children

This program not only enhances the children’s understanding of religion and culture but also instills in them a sense of pride in their history and traditions. It fosters self-confidence, enabling them to face the challenges of the modern era while staying rooted in their cultural heritage.

Contribution to Society

The impact of Rashtrotthan Cultural Week extends beyond the children themselves. The knowledge they gain is shared with their families and communities, creating a ripple effect of cultural awareness and spiritual awakening in society.

Future Vision

Rashtrotthan Cultural Week is a unique step toward providing holistic education to children. Its purpose is to revive the values of Sanatan Dharma that have long been the foundation of Indian society. Through this initiative, we are not only nurturing children but also building a society that balances modernity with tradition.
This program acts as a bridge between modern education and Sanatan culture, connecting children to their roots while preparing them for the future.

In the Sanatan tradition, the role of a homemaker is not limited to managing the household; she is the cornerstone of society and nation-building. With this vision, even before the establishment of the Gurukul, Rajendra Ji envisioned that mothers should be the ones to instill the importance of Dharma, values, and life skills in their children. This noble idea led to the creation of the concept of “Sanatan Grihini.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when regular activities came to a standstill, this mission remained steadfast. Virtual dialogues were organized to connect with mothers and sisters, raising their awareness of the significance of Dharma and cultural values. These sessions provided a platform for women to share their thoughts and challenges while understanding the importance of imparting value-based education to their children.
Following these sessions, the initiative expanded further. Interested mothers and sisters were given a special set of books from Rashtriyottan (Nation Revival Initiative). These books covered topics related to Dharma, culture, and family management. To date, more than 20 mothers have received this set, which serves as both a repository of knowledge and a guide for homemakers to contribute meaningfully to their families and society.
The “Sanatan Grihini” initiative goes beyond individual or familial betterment. It redefines the role of women in society and the nation. By empowering mothers, this effort recognizes the transformative power of motherhood in shaping not just the future of families but also in awakening religious and cultural consciousness. It is a unique step towards societal transformation through the empowerment of women.

Under this program, we organize mass Hanuman Chalisa recitation every Tuesday in our surrounding villages.
